QuiBids 101

QuiBids Games Explained

Did you know that you can earn totally free Voucher Bids just by playing games? It’s true! QuiBids Games are the most fun way to stock up on bids with QuiBids, but before you start bidding on your first Gameplay Auction, be sure to read this article and the QuiBids Games part of our FAQ section. A smart QuiBidder is a happy QuiBidder!

What are Gameplays?

Much like Hybrid Auctions that include both a product and a specific amount of Voucher Bids, some auctions attach a Gameplay to the product. Once won, Gameplays enable the bidder to play one of our super-fun games to win a bunch of free Voucher Bids. You can easily tell which auctions on the home page include a Gameplay by the green icon with the joystick in the corner of the product image (it's pictured at the right).  On the actual auction page, the product title will include the phrase “+ 1X Gameplay”.

What are Game multipliers?

Game multipliers allow you to win more bids from a single game. Let’s say you win 50 Voucher Bids playing Groundhog Hunting with a 1X Game Multiplier. Here’s how the same payout would have been with a higher Game Multiplier:

  • 2X Game Multiplier:  100 Bids
  • 5X Game Multiplier:  250 Bids

As you can see, Game Multipliers can have a huge impact on how many bids you earn playing QuiBids Games.

How do I redeem a Gameplay?

After you’ve won an auction with a Gameplay attached, you’re ready to play QuiBids Games! To redeem your Gameplay, simply go QuiBids Games, pick the game you want to play, and click its corresponding Play Now button. From there, you’ll see a pick the Game Multiplier you want to use and start winning with QuiBids Games!

Gameplay Auctions tend to attract a little bit more competition, so expect the ending price to be higher than if the auction didn’t come with a Gameplay. Remember that our Customer Support staff is always happy to assist you if you’re having issues, or if you would just like some more information.

Happy bidding, and GAME ON!

is there a place where i can read the rules on all games and how you play them

eklyons@QuiBids Says:

Yes! When you select the game, you will be given detailed instructions. The game will not start until you review the instructions and click on the 'start' icon.

So if I have 3 game plays I can click on 3xGP to get 3 times the bids won? Is this correct?

eklyons@QuiBids Says:

Not exactly. You will only be able to play a 2x or 3x game if you win that type of game. If you have three 1x game plays in your account, that means you have three separate games available to you and you can not combine them into a 3x game.

So you have to win the auction before you get to play the game!? What if I lose repeatedly just trying to get a chance to play the games? Don't you guys think you should give a place where we get to play the games without going to an auction? I dont think that will ruin anything at all.

eklyons@QuiBids Says:

We offer an alternative means of entry, as no purchase is necessary to participate in the Games. You can mail in a game play request to QuiBids. You can view detailed instructions to this process by copy and pasting this link into your browser: http://www.quibids.com/en/help/game_rules.php

So if I use the buy now option on a bid with the game play included. Do I loose the game play because I didn't win the auction?

lstuckemeyer@QuiBids Says:

That is correct! Only the winner of the auction is awarded with the Gameplay.

Can I download Adobe onto iPad?

jpayne5@QuiBids Says:

We recommend contacting Apple Support to see if you are able to do this. However, we do recommend not using iPad and other mobile/tablet platforms on our site for the best experience.

How do I rate a game after playing? You get a voucher just for reviewing the game correct? Thanks!

jpayne5@QuiBids Says:

After you play the game, on the Game Summary page where you claim your winnings you will be able to select the number of stars you give that game to rate it.

If I win a bid that was $0.93 do I pay just that or do I pay $0.60 x 93 bids?

jpayne5@QuiBids Says:

The bids are pre-paid, so if you win the auction you only pay $0.93 (plus any fees listed in the Item Description).
