Great for the kitchen, workout room, or home shop, this small digital clock/timer is useful in counting down cooking time, timing circuit training exercises, or tracking paint or wood glue drying time. No bigger than the palm of a hand, the timer is magnetized to stick to a refrigerator or stovetop or, alternatively, hangs via a clip or mounts onto a table with its wire stand. The large 0.7-inch LCD screen is easy to read and displays the current time in hours and minutes. When set for timing, the instrument displays in minutes and seconds and times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, which is ideal for monitoring cook times on dishes that require slow cooking, such as braised meats. The timer counts either up or down and emits a beeping noise when time has elapsed, which is easily turned off by pressing the Start/Stop button. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included).
