You can also use the lid hook to hang the lid on the outer edge of the fryer for added convenience.
 
The Butterball fryer is loaded with convenient features, including a foolproof adjustable temperature control dial with a thermostat that provides even, consistent cooking. The dial prevents the fryer from overheating and yields delicious results every time. The fryer basket is also handy, as it not only holds 18-pound turkeys, but also pork roasts, whole chickens, and even corn on the cob. The basket is accompanied by a sturdy lifting hook for easy basket removal. And to ensure consistent cooking, the fryer comes with a turkey stand that goes inside the roasting basket.
